Account information: your email address, your confirmation that you are 21 or older, and the username, display name, bio, avatar, and banner you choose to add.

Membership information: your subscription status, plan, and billing history. Payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

Content you create: posts, comments, picks you log, questions you ask Ask the Mind, and other community activity.

Order information: for merchandise, the shipping name and address you provide, which we pass to our fulfillment partner.

Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and similar log data collected automatically when you use the site.

Visit and sign-up steps: two first-party cookies and a short record of key steps, described under "Analytics cookies and site events" below.

Email list: if you ask for the free Game of the Week email without making an account, the email address you give us, the wording you agreed to, where on the site you signed up, the tags of your first tagged visit (below), when we last emailed you, and, if an account already uses that address, a link to that account.

To operate your account and provide the Service, including gating paid content to active members.

To process payments, renewals, refunds, and merchandise orders.

To communicate with you about your account, your membership, and changes to the Service, including trial and renewal reminders and notice of price changes.

To send the free weekly deck email to people who asked for it.

To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and account sharing, and enforce our Terms.

To understand how the site is used so we can improve it, including which channels (for example, the QR code on our live show) bring visitors who sign up, subscribe, or join the email list.

We set two first-party cookies of our own. sz_src remembers the campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content) of your first visit from a tagged link, such as the QR code on our show or a link in one of our emails, along with the page you landed on and the time. It is set only when you arrive through a tagged link, a later tagged visit does not replace it for 30 days, and it expires after 30 days. sz_aid is a random identifier that lasts one year from your last visit, so we can count a returning visitor once. Neither cookie holds your name, email address, or IP address, and neither is shared with advertisers. We may keep a copy of each in your browser's local storage so the count survives browsers that shorten cookie lifetimes. Your browser's storage also keeps two small notes of ours: that a tagged visit was already counted (until you close the tab), and, if you joined the email list on this device, that you did, so we don't ask again.

Our own servers also record a few steps of a visit: arriving from a tagged link, starting and confirming sign-up, starting checkout, completing a purchase (the plan, its price, what was charged, and our payment provider's reference for that checkout), asking Ask the Mind a question (whether it was answered, the sport, and your plan), and joining the email list. Each record holds the step, the time, the page, and, when we have them, the first-visit tags, the random identifier, the website that linked you here (its domain only), and your account id if you are signed in. These records never contain your email address, IP address, payment card details, or the text of your questions. We also send the step names, with the campaign tag (and, for purchases, the plan), to Vercel Web Analytics, which reports them to us in aggregate.

We use these records only to understand which channels bring people to the site and what they do next. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.

If you ask for it, we email you once a week (on Wednesdays) with that week's free NFL Game of the Week Matchup Deck and brief, plus a welcome email when you sign up. These emails may also mention our memberships and offers, such as the Founding Member price.

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and supports the one-click unsubscribe button in mail apps like Gmail and Apple Mail. You can also write to us to be removed. You don't need an account to unsubscribe.

Your address is sent through Resend, our email delivery provider, and is not shared with anyone else.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share what is necessary with service providers who operate parts of the Service on our behalf: Supabase (accounts and database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (the language model that writes Ask the Mind answers, which receives the questions you ask), and our merchandise fulfillment partner (shipping details for orders you place).

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

If the business is sold or reorganized, account information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We keep account information while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Transaction records are retained as required by law.

Site-event records (see "Analytics cookies and site events") are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or reduced to totals that identify no one. The sz_src cookie expires after 30 days and sz_aid one year after your last visit.

Email-list addresses are kept while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we keep the address marked as unsubscribed so we don't email it again, unless you ask us to delete it.

You can ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time.

You can access and update most of your information from your account page, or ask us at Sizzlinsports@gmail.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link. We will still send essential account and billing messages.

If you decline cookies in our cookie banner, we don't set sz_src or sz_aid and remove any already set. You can also block or delete them (and clear this site's local storage) in your browser settings. The site works the same without them; we just can't tell which link brought you.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls, and we rely on established processors for payments and authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not intended for anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact Sizzlinsports@gmail.com and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.
